What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an award winning, patented, hybrid injectable treatment.
Profhilo offers one of the highest concentrations of ultra pure, non-cross-linked hyaluronic-acid (HA). It is not a dermal filler. It doesn’t add volume, but spreads beneath the skin, integrating into the tissues.
Profhilo is not a dermal filler, or a skin booster. It is the only bio-remodelling product on the market.
How does it work?
Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time it acts at a cellular level, stimulating production of 4 different types of collagen & elastin. This results in significant tissue improvement.
Profhilo provides intense, sustained hydration to the skin. It Improves skin tone & radiance, & increases firmness ,for healthier, softer skin.
Areas that can be treated include the face, neck, hands, arms & body.
What does the treatment involve?
Treatment for the face consists of 5, very specific injection points on each side. These points are known as Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP), & allow for maximum diffusion of the product.
The whole procedure takes around 20 minutes.
There is minimal downtime & any mild swelling will resolve within 1-5 days.
When will I see results?
Patience is key!
A subtle improvement may be noticed soon after the first treatment, with skin appearing brighter & smoother. However, the full effects are usually seen 4 weeks after the 2nd treatment.
A course of 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart are recommended (If signs of ageing are significant, a 3rd treatment may be beneficial).
How long does it last?
Usually up to 6 months. A maintenance treatment, every 5-6 months is recommended
